Osaka

From my hotel room.  During the day, though, Osaka is slightly more grey...

...as is made clear when atop the Umeda Sky Building.

I struggled somewhat with the glass elevator ride, then the final stretch on these escalators.  Can you see those guys washing the windows?

The hotel I initially stayed in was selected by a travel agent, so was perhaps a little more plush than I'd have gone for (which isn't actually a problem.).  It even had its own indoor chapel.
